Amy Jonaitis

Amy is a highly skilled litigator and negotiator with a passion for family law and a reputation for diligence and attention to details. Amy recognizes the struggle individuals can experience prior to and during the divorce process. Amy’s goal is to guide them through the process. This approach provides results through effective negotiations and hard work towards reaching a settlement – or at trial if all settlement efforts fail.

Amy is known as a steadfast, straightforward, and trustworthy attorney and advocate, both in and out of the courtroom. Amy primarily represents clients in dissolution of marriage proceedings involving complex financial issues, corporate valuations and business issues, non-marital asset protection, and child custody disputes.

In addition to her regular practice, Amy is also community minded and devotes her time to different community service projects, including representation of children on a pro bono basis through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Amy is currently an adjunct professor at DePaul University, College of Law.
